Hambo es un juego diseñado por Miniclip, una empresa conocida desde hace muchos años por su portal de videojuegos en Flash y que, en los últimos años, se ha lanzado a publicar juegos en iOS y Android. Hambo es uno de los últimos juegos que han lanzado y ya acumula más de 5 millones de descargas.
Hambo, el cerdo que se creía Rambo
Aunque la versión web del juego tiene bastante tiempo, podríamos decir que el estilo de Hambo bebe directamente de Angry Birds y Worms. El objetivo de cada uno de los niveles es matar a los malvados gorrinos repartidos por el escenario. Para ese propósito, tenemos un completo 
arsenal de armas, que van desde la pistola hasta la dinamita C4, y nuestra habilidad y puntería para acertar en el blanco.
Los escenarios están repletos de objetos que facilitarán o dificultarán, dependiendo de nuestros disparos, la tarea de eliminar a nuestros adversarios. Por ejemplo podremos destruir superficies para que los enemigos se caigan o lanzar objetos para que les hagan daño.
El uso y funcionamiento de nuestro arsenal de armas es muy similar al de Worms. En cada nivel tenemos un número limitado de armas, con lo cual tendremos que elegir bien nuestra estrategia. Además, con determinadas armas, tendremos que elegir la potencia y el arco exactos para acertar en nuestro objetivo.
Que no falte el humor
Hambo es un juego diseñado con mucha originalidad. Sus gráficos son sencillos pero con una estética muy divertida. Las formas en las que son exterminados los enemigos son de lo más variopintas y podemos usar el dinero que ganamos en cada nivel para comprar en la tienda distintos trajes, pudiendo vestir de Indiana Jones o Kratos, entre otros, a nuestro particular héroe.
Muchas horas por delante
Lo cierto es que aunque el juego no representa ninguna revolución, su jugabilidad y curva de dificultad hacen de él un candidato perfecto para que nos quedemos enganchados a nuestro Smartphone desde el primer momento.
Tampoco todo puede ser bueno, el mayor inconveniente que hemos encontrado, al menos en la versión de Android, es la gran cantidad de publicidad que encontramos tanto en las partidas como en las transiciones entre los niveles. Eso sí, siempre tenemos la posibilidad de comprar la versión sin publicidad y si no perdonarsela por ser gratuito.
