Aquí vamos a intentar reunir algunos de los juegos más destacados en una semana cuyo panorama no es muy alentador. Sin embargo aún quedan resquicios en las compañías que intentan traernos lo mejor de entonces hasta nuestros actuales días.
Street Fighter X MegaMan (PC)
Los fans también pueden crear verdaderas obras de arte, y un aficionado chino, junto con el equipo de Capcom han desarrollado este crossover de ambos títulos. La era de los 8 bits está aún con nosotros, aunque no os lo creáis. MegaMan cumple el próximo 17 de diciembre sus particulares bodas de plata con la industria del videojuego, y esa ha sido la fecha escogida por Capcom para lanzar esta versión tan característica de ambas sagas entrecruzadas.
La jugabilidad del título no ha cambiado ni un ápice, bueno si, los enemigos ahora no serán los típicos sino todos los personajes de Street Fighter con sus habilidades individuales. Ahora será más complicado zafarse de quienes se dedican a frenarnos en nuestro objetivo. El juego estaba planteado desde hace dos años y gracias al apoyo económico y de recursos de programación de la propia Capcom, esto ha salido adelante. Lo mejor de todo, el título será gratuito, aunque por ahora sólo en PC verá la luz.
Grimind (PC, Mac, Linux)
Este se postula como el juego extraño de la semana. Grimind consiste en un título de plataformas en el que hay que utilizar el coco para salir airoso de una situación de total soledad. Con unos colores bastante tétricos y unos escenarios dignos de las cavernas de los Fraggle Rock, nuestro protagonista deberá escapar del lugar usando para ello compuertas, piedras, lianas, cajones, y un sin fin de objetos y elementos dispuestos a conciencia en pantalla. Paweł Mogiła, su desarrollador y aún estudiante ha sabido atraer a parte del público curioso por estos juegos.
Grimind llegará el próximo 18 de este mes a PC, Mac y Linux por un precio cercano a los 8 €. Este es una mezcla entre títulos del calibre de Unmechanical y Abbe’s Oddisey. Un juego para mentes pensantes y que dará bastantes horas de uso a nuestros ratones y teclados. Se ha denominado al género como un horror-platform, algo que me parece muy acertado dado su aspecto. Los sackboys de LittleBigPlanet tienen competencia, porque este personaje es casi clavado a ellos.
Kinect Party (Xbox 360)
Los usuarios de Kinect están de enhorabuena, ya que esta semana tendrán una nueva forma de entretener a sus amigos en las fiestas. Kinect Party podrá descargarse de forma totalmente gratuita a partir del 18 de diciembre hasta el día 31 del mismo mes. En él podremos encontrar hasta 36 minijuegos para amenizar toda reunión de amigos y conocidos estas navidades.
Utilizando la realidad aumentada, los jugadores pasarán a formar parte del propio juego en pantalla, enfrentándose en diferentes retos aptos para todas las edades. Ya no podrás poner excusa alguna a tus familiares y amigos esta Navidad, de que no tienes juegos para todos. Kinect Party ha sido desarrollado por Doble Fine, dedicada en exclusiva al trabajo con este periférico de Xbox 360 desde que fue lanzado.
Labyrinth Legends (PS3)
En exclusiva y en descarga directa desde PlayStation Network, llega el día 18 Labyrinth Legends, un juego arcade de acción y aventura que recompensará a los jugadores hábiles y fuertes que quieran convertirse en leyenda. Es un título con diversidad de puzzles, y cuyo escenarios son una acertada representación de mazmorras. Nos llevará a través de distintos laberintos y criptas en las que tendremos que hacer frente a bastantes enemigos.
Quien querrán cortarnos el paso será criaturas como zombis, momias, demonios y un batiburrillo de ‘gentuza’ de diversa calaña. Deberemos evitar, como no, muchas trampas por el camino y recoger estrellas dispersar por todos los escenarios, así como oro, tesoros ocultos, armas o artefactos. Además Creat Studios incluye en su título tablas de puntuación, para seguir de manera online los progresos de nuestros amigos. Por si fuera poco tenemos un multijugador offline para hasta cuatro jugadores y trofeos que conseguir. Estimamos que el precio rondará los 10 €.
Final Fantasy IV (iOS, Android)
Square Enix sigue rescatando clásicos y esta vez le toca el turno a la cuarta entrega de este RPG clásico donde los haya. Esperemos que Final Fantasy IV tenga una mayor acogida que la tercera parte, ya que su precio echaba para atrás hasta el más pintado. Sin embargo lo que tendremos que pagar por este último episodio será muy cercano o superior, se habla de 20 $, que ‘al cambio’ serán unos 19-20 €. Como no cambien su política, mal vamos chicos.
Final Fantasy IV saldrá a la venta el 20 de diciembre para el sistema portátil de Apple. Se ha confirmado que para Android estaría disponible en las primeras semanas de 2013, aunque no os decimos nada seguro ni oficial. El juego es un port de la versión de Nintendo DS, algo de lo que muchos fans de la saga se han quejado, ya que el primer iPhone tiene mayor potencia gráfica que la propia portátil de Iwata.
