Teniendo en cuenta en los tiempos que estamos, no es de extrañar que las compañías nos ofrezcan tan poco trabajo estos días. Nuestras consolas y PCs descansarán una semana más y así estar preparadas para lo que vienen durante las próximas. Un shooter en un mundo en decadencia, otro donde deberemos poner mucho de nuestra parte para conseguir los objetivos siendo sigilosos en gran medida, la continuación de una gran saga de luchadores y la aventura gráfica más oscura de los últimos años entran a formar parte estos próximos siete días de lo más destacado en Xombit Games.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)
Esta versión del director sólo estaba prevista para Wii U, sin embargo, los chicos de Eidos Interactive pensaron que sacar este juego para las demás consolas y PC les iba a reportar muchos más beneficios. Esta versión del juego incluye bastantes mejoras y añadidos como los últimos DLC que se han lanzado. Éstos nos ofrecen la misión Tongs’s Rescue y el DLC Missing Link, un pack de contenido que sigue la estela de la historia principal. Además se han mejorado los enfrentamientos con los jefes finales, dando algo de equilibrio y optimizando la IA.
Como toda versión mejorada, en este Director’s Cut no podía faltar el aumento en el nivel gráfico. Algunos bugs se han solventado. El próximo día 18 de julio lo tendremos listo para su distribución por parte de Koch Media. Estará disponible por unos 50 euros en consolas y 40 en compatibles. A finales de año llegará la esperada versión de Wii U. Con este re-lanzamiento se incluyen unos 45 minutos de documental making of y al menos 8 horas de comentarios de los desarrolladores de Eidos.
Face Noir (PC)
Como su nombre indica, la oscuridad cubrirá todo y será la protagonista de esta historia. Con este nombre bautizó la prensa allá por octubre de 1929 a los Estados Unidos, cuando tuvo que enfrentarse a los años más oscuros de su historia, lo que también se llamó La Gran Depresión. En un par de meses el sueño americano estaba muerto y la confianza en Dios empezaba a temblar. Unos pocos años de crisis bastaron para que la gente mostrara su verdadera cara: falsedad, sobornos, etc.
Esta aventura gráfica en tiempos de crisis es lo que necesitaba el PC para animar a sus seguidores que desde el último Deponia no estaban recibiendo el trato que merecían. La corrupción se ha convertido en el pan de cada día en un país en decadencia y deberemos conocer las claves que nos han llevado a ser encañonados y con un cadáver en nuestra conciencia. El 18 de julio Mad Orange nos ha preparado su lanzamiento por un precio más que aceptable, unos 15 euros.
Dynasty Warriors 8 (PS3, Xbox 360)
Octava entrega de la saga donde se nos sigue ofreciendo la misma experiencia beat’em up de antaño aunque con unos gráficos bastante mejorados durante años. Un juego distribuido por Koei y desarrollado por Omega Force que nos trae la novela histórica ‘Romance de los Tres Reinos’ del escritor chino Luo Guanzhong. El juego fue presentado en octubre del año pasado en la revista Jump y lanzado para PS3 únicamente en Japón en febrero de este año. Ya era hora de que los europeos lo catásemos ¿no?
El juego contará con tanto voces como textos en inglés, aunque podremos cambiar los subtítulos entre inglés, alemán y francés. Una pena para los que no entiendan algunos de los tres idiomas. El juego mantiene el mismo sistema EX de armas, aunque todos los personajes tienen ahora armas únicas a cada uno de ellos. El 19 de julio llegará a ambas consolas por un precio cercano a los 51 euros. En Norteamérica aterrizará tres días antes y en Australia el día 25.
Metro: Last Light ‘Pack Facción’ (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)
En Xombit Games hemos analizado la última entrega de 4A Games sobre la supervivencia en lo más profundo de una ciudad apocalíptica. Este shooter en primera persona ha sido distribuido por Deep Silver y esta semana será lanzado el primer contenido descargable a la venta. Este DLC se llama ‘Pack Facción’ e incluirá tres misiones para el modo individual, cada uno de los cuales nos pondrá en la piel de un especialista de cada facción de guerra del juego. Su precio será de 4,99 euros en Steam y PlayStation Network y de 400 puntos Microsoft en Xbox Live.
Deep Silver ha anunciado que están preparando algunos DLC más para este título que alargarán su vida en gran medida. El ‘Pack Torre’ incluirá un simulador de combate con clasificación en línea. El ‘Pack Desarrollador’ nos ofrecerá una galería de tiro muy completa y una misión individual con nuevas herramientas para eliminar arañas. Y otro pack, el ‘Crónicas’ que traerá algunas misiones para un jugador en las que seremos cada uno de los tres personajes del juego, Pavel, Khan y Anna en diversos momentos independientes de la historia principal. El 16 de julio llegará a PC y Xbox 360 y al día siguiente a PS3.
