Lanzamientos destacados, semana del 12 al 18 de agosto

En un fin de semana en el que las temperaturas han subido estrepitosamente, volvemos con nuestros cinco nuevos lanzamientos para los próximos siete días. En esta ocasión tenemos un plataformas clásico remasterizado, un cooperativos para robar más que un simple banco, un shooter donde el color brilla por su ausencia, una nueva entrega de Pokémon y el heavy metal que entra con más que fuerza en los videojuegos. Una mezcla bastante interesante para comenzar una nueva semana.

DuckTales – Remastered (PC, PS3, Wii U)

Con esto de la crisis el Tío Gilito tiene trabajo que hacer. Vuelve una gran aventura de plataformas de la era de los 8 bits remasterizada a la alta definición. El equipo de desarrollo del juego original de NES, que saliera allá por finales de los ochenta, ha retomado los niveles gráficos y los diseños para, a partir de ahí, elaborar un gran port a la generación actual. WayForward y Capcom nos traerán el juego el día 13 en PC, el 14 en PS3 y el 15 en Wii U.

En el título resolveremos misterios planteados e incluso reescribir la propia historia. Acompañaremos también a los tres sobrinos de Gilito en esta aventura en la búsqueda de grandes tesoros en parajes exóticos. Se ha remozado la banda sonora original, dándole un carácter más moderno, apropiado a los años que corren. Su precio rondará los 27-30 euros y podrá ser descargado a través de PlayStation Store, eShop de Nintendo y en diversos medios para la versión de PC.

Payday 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Parece ser que durante épocas de crisis a la gente le da por pensar más en cómo robar algo de dinero y Overkill Software y 505 Games nos quieren ayudar a hacerlo ‘realidad’. Payday 2 es un juego con un gran componente cooperativo. Un simulador de atracos en el que deberemos colaborar con nuestros compañeros de robo para salir airosos de nuestros ‘trabajitos’.

El día 13 saldrá en PC y el 16 en PS3 y Xbox 360 por unos 30 y 40 euros respectivamente. El título es en primera persona y los gráficos no son nada malos. Tendremos que conseguir hacer el atraco perfecto, entrando y saliendo del lugar, generalmente bancos con cajas acorazadas, de la manera más limpia posible. Ya tenemos una excusa para robar la Reserva Federal de Nueva York sin hacer ruido. Solo nos faltan los compañeros/as.

Betrayer (PC)

De los creadores de F.E.A.R nos llega esta semana un título muy interesante. El juego en sí trata de ir matando a todo lo que veamos, generalmente personajes no-muertos en una época colonial algo atípica. Durante todas las misiones tendremos que hacer frente a un dibujado en blanco y negro con tintes puntuales de rojo intenso. Este rojo se enfatizará más en los enemigos y en la sangre de los mismos y la nuestra. Es un juego muy vistoso.

Digamos que se trata de un shooter en primera persona con zombis y en la época colonial. Acción y armas de antaño que Blackpowder Games nos trae el día 13 a nuestros PC. Curiosamente en el inicio del desarrollo Betrayer era un juego con todos los colores, pero pensaron en esta idea y le ha salido bien la jugada. Adopta elementos de Far Cry 3, como el arco que usaremos y de Dark Souls, en lo referente al dinero que, cuando morimos, desaparece y debemos conseguir más si no queremos volver al hoyo.

Pokémon Rumble U (Wii U)

Este será el primer Pokémon que aparezca en Wii U y hecho exclusivamente para ella. En esta nueva entrega, desarrollada por Game Freak y supervisada por Nintendo, podremos conseguir los 649 pokémons existentes. En otras palabras tendremos todos los pokémons disponibles desde la primera hasta la quinta generación. A partir del día 15 podremos desacargarlo desde la eShop por unos 15 euros aproximadamente.

Sin embargo, su precio es tan bajo debido a que el juego utiliza la tecnología NFC con una serie de figuras de los pokémons no incluidas en el paquete del títul o a la hora de su compra. Así que cada figurita costará cerca de 3 euros, lo que se nos puede llevar al juego a costar cerca de 60 euros si queremos tener un buen arsenal de pokémons. Esperemos que le salga bien la jugada a Nintendo, porque llevan un inicio de generación nada alentador en ventas.

Charlie Murder (Xbox 360)

A ritmo de heavy metal nos llega este juego con el nombre de un conjunto que debe enfrentarse a sus rivales del death metal, Gore Quaffer y a su ejército de gente maldita. Es un juego de estilo beat’em up con tintes de RPG inspirado en los títulos de peleas de las recreativas y en los clásicos leberínticos. El título luce unos gráficos en dos dimensiones con colores apagados, aunque el rojo se ve más intenso (parece que está de moda esto de darle protagonismo al rojo sangre).

A partir del día 14 de agosto podremos descargarlo desde Xbox Live por unos 800 puntos Microsoft. El juego ha sido desarrollado por Ska Studios y está hecho para disfrutarlo cuatro jugadores en la misma pantalla en modo cooperativo, si no, no mola. Todo lo que nos transmiten los sonidos del metal y del heavy más puro, se traducirá en violencia y sangre por doquier en este Charlie Murder.
