Desde que salió el primer Worms, he estado jugando y disfrutando como el primer día con cada secuela que iban sacando. Worms 2 fue el primero que usó este tipo de gráficos 2D renovados para desarrollar su juego, y en mi opinión, fue el mejor por su novedad, su gran cantidad de armas y escenarios. Algunas de las armas no han vuelto a aparecer en ningún otro Worms, esperemos que en este último lo tengan en cuenta.
Novedades
Worms Revolution llega para demostrar que Team 17 no está dormida, y que siguen vivos para asegurar total diversión con su título franquicia. Esta semana, los ingleses de West Yorkshire han mostrado una serie de vídeos sobre el diario de desarrollo, el cual nos da un ejemplo de lo que podemos esperar para el día de su lanzamiento este año. Nos hablan de nuevos modos de juego, dando un lavado de cara partiendo desde cero con un nuevo motor gráfico, que mezcla 2D con 3D, y un cambio en lo que a la jugabilidad e interacción con los escenarios se refiere.

Fecha y precios
Hemos podido saber que Team 17 ha fechado su último título, Worms Revolution para el día 10 de octubre de este mismo año. No se dice nada de las versiones para PC y Xbox 360, pero suponemos que no rondará muy lejano su lanzamiento en las dos plataformas de Microsoft. Huele a exclusividad temporal. No sé si me parece buena fecha esa, ¡por qué quiero jugarlo ya! Recordamos que el juego saldrá en descarga digital en PlayStation Network, Xbox Live y Steam.
En cuanto a los precios, sí se han detallado en todas las plataformas. Y es que, tanto en PlayStation Network como a través de Steam, estará disponible por un montante de 12,99 € y en Xbox Live su salida se fijará en 1200 puntos Microsoft. El precio es muy ajustado y muy bueno, ya que su predecesor en consolas fue Worms y tuvo un coste de 9,99 € con muchas menos novedades. Por ello, y con la duración que puedo predecir, es un must have para todos los aficionados a esta saga.
