Después de dos semanas desde que se lanzara Wii U, durante esta próxima se verá incrementada la plantilla de juegos para la nueva sobremesa de Nintendo. Pero no todo videojuego actual tiene el mismo destino, el PC no está aún muerto y siguen desarrollando para la plataforma universal diversos títulos, sobretodos multijugador, que veremos a continuación. No podemos olvidar los DLCs que van a ampliar los grandes juegos como Halo 4, Battlefield 3, Assassin’s Creed 3 o Dishonored.
Black Knight Sword (PS3, Xbox 360)
Este será un videojuego de acción y perspectiva lateral en dos dimensiones, con una jugabilidad de las de antes. El título saldrá para descarga desde PlayStation Network el próximo 11 de diciembre y en Xbox Live al día siguiente. Se presenta ante nosotros una llamativa historia digna del teatro y cuentos de origen japonés, con la característica estética que esto conlleva. Los jugadores controlarán a los personajes que tomarán el nombre de Caballero Negro y, ayudados de su espada, defenderán a la Princesa Blanca.
Los movimientos del juego están muy bien conseguidos, con un grado de fluidez que más quisieran algunos del sector. Ha sido desarrollado por Grasshopper Manufacture y Digital Reality, los que ya lanzaran en su día el juego de naves Sine Mora que tanto éxito obtuvo. El título llegará a las plataformas en línea de Microsoft y Sony por unos 900 puntos y 8 € respectivamente. Esperemos que tenga una gran acogida, este tipo de juegos ‘pequeños’ y a ese precio suelen triunfar.
Darkfall Unholy Wars (PC)
Llega esta semana la renovación de Darkfall, con una interfaz bastante más sencilla y orientada a la acción del juego, un estilo más similar a los shooters que a los clásicos MMORPG. Ya no veremos todas esas barras y ventanitas agolpadas en la pantalla. Se nota el gran trabajo que Aventurine le ha dedicado y tiene muy buena pinta. Lo tendremos en tiendas online el 12 de diciembre por un precio cercano a los 14 € de suscripción mensual, aunque es sólo un rumor, pero podría ser cierto.
Lo nuevo del juego y más sonado es el nuevo sistema de asedios y batallas masivas tanto por tierra como surcando los mares. Contaremos con un amplio mundo abierto, y con roles muy diferentes unos de otros y flexibles entre lo que el jugador escogerá. Además tendremos foot loot, es decir la posibilidad de conseguir todos los objetos del inventario del jugador al que derrotemos en el campo de batalla. Una apuesta que continúa lo que empezado en Darkfall y que tiene una buena comunidad detrás.
Hawken (PC)
Este próximo miércoles 12 de diciembre llegará a compatibles Hawken, un juego multijugador online gratuito, con un ritmo frenético y la más pura de las estrategias en combate. Los jugadores deberán pilotar poderosas máquinas de guerra futuristas tipo MECH. Tendremos dos tipos de batallas, todos contra todos y por equipos a muerte. Tú decides cómo quieres morir.
Adhesive Games ha desarrollado este juego que dará mucho de qué hablar en la industria, ya que un título que rezuma tanta calidad y siendo gratuito será una competencia bastante efectiva para los rivales del mismo género. Este es un juego que ha sido condecorado con varios premios en lo que va de año, y que utilizando como motor gráfico, el ya quemado Unreal Engine 3 aportará algo de luz a este tipo de juegos que está en declive últimamente.
007 Legends (Wii U)
Nintendo sigue trayendo desarrolladores a Wii U. Uno de los últimos héroes que ha aterrizado en la nueva máquina de Iwata es James Bond. El agente 007 aparece en este nuevo videojuego de acción de la franquicia, desarrollado por Eurocom y que está basado en una mezcla de las historias de las seis películas clásicas y de la nueva de este año, Skyfall. El 14 de diciembre veremos si han sabido llevar a Wii U la acción y el carisma de James Bond como en otras consolas allá por octubre y noviembre.
Tendremos bastantes modos de juego, ni punto de comparación con Goldeneye 007. Aquí el agente Bond tendrá un modo sigilo para evitar ser visto a través de varias pantallas, un modo recolección para conseguir diversos objetos para completar la misión, y podremos conseguir puntos XP para canjearlos por mejoras de armas y otros accesorios útiles para un agente de este calibre. El juego saldrá por un precio de 55-60 €.
El origen de los Guardianes: El Videojuego (Wii U)
El 14 de diciembre comienza la Navidad en el mundillo del videojuego. En esta ocasión con El origen de los Guardianes, llega la aventura basada en la película con el mismo nombre que reúne a personajes de leyendas clásicas infantiles como Papá Noel, el Hada de los DIentes, el Conejo de Pascua, el Creador de Sueños o Jack Escarcha. Algunos de ellos son más típicos de cuentos norteamericanos, por eso no os sonarán demasiado.
A finales de noviembre ya salió una versión para casi el resto de consolas, pero ahora aterriza en Wii U para convertirse en una compra obligada para muchos padres que han visto que tanto su cartera como el disco duro de la consola decrecían considerablemente el día de la compra de Wii U. Por un precio cercano a 50 €, nos llevaremos una aventura de fantasía, una adaptación de la película que se nos antoja algo breve.
