Por fin llegamos a la tercera entrega de la franquicia Crysis de Crytek (cuarta si consideramos la expansión como un juego más), un shooter que siempre ha querido destacar en todos sus parámetros, aunque sin duda por el que más destaca es por reventar ordenadores a la hora de intentar poner todo al máximo. Pero en fin, vuelve Prophet, a una Nueva York cambiada pero que trae recuerdos de la anterior entrega. Vamos a ponerle punto y final a esta aventura de una vez por todas con un juego que impresiona desde el minuto cero.
Argumento
Tras nuestra victoria en Crysis 2 con los Ceph derrotados, parecía que todo había acabado, habíamos ganado aunque una amenaza mayor se oliera en el ambiente. Pero no, han pasado unos cuantos años desde ese momento, Prophet ha estado “hibernado” todo este tiempo por las fuerzas de CELL, las cuales controlan prácticamente el mundo a día de hoy gracias al uso de la energía que sacan de las ruinas Ceph.
Nuestro salvador no es otro que Psycho, compañero en la primera aventura (protagonista de la expansión), el cual nos va a meter en la Nueva York tomada por CELL para acabar con su dominio energético de una vez por todas, aunque igual hay una amenaza peor.

Primeras impresiones y jugabilidad
Shooter clásico de toda la vida con un par de variantes. Podemos llevar dos armas de cualquier tipo durante la aventura, un arco que se mantiene fijo durante toda la aventura y material explosivo, mayormente granadas. El armamento del juego me parece, básicamente, penoso, mejorando poco lo ya visto en Crysis 2. El cambio de mirillas, silenciador, munición, se sigue manteniendo, pero realmente da bastante igual. En cambio el arco es un añadido brutal (que a su vez hace el juego muy sencillo), tenemos flechas normales que pueden recogerse y tres tipos de munición adicional bastante interesante, además podemos marcar el “tensado” del arco para que haga más daño o dispare más rápido.
El traje sigue haciendo acto de presencia, se han simplificado los poderes ya que sólo hay invisibilidad y dureza en esta ocasión, pero se ha añadido una visión en la que podemos piratear tanto aparatos electrónicos como tecnología Ceph (con el mismo mini juego pesado siempre). Además a lo largo del juego iremos encontrando kits de mejora para el nanotraje que, a modo de puntos de habilidad, podremos usar para desbloquear las habilidades que queramos y convertirnos en el tipo de soldado que más nos guste, sigiloso o destroyer.
Prácticamente no hay aliados en toda la aventura (algo penoso, con lo bien que quedaba en la segunda entrega) y la IA enemiga roza lo lamentable, parece que tienen sus pautas de movimiento y cierta organización, pero en cuanto empiezan los tiros veremos que simplemente son tontos, la IA típica de esta generación. En general, Crysis 3 es un shooter básico en cuestión de jugabilidad, aunque ir con el arco en modo sigilo, es una mezcla de Rambo y Predator simplemente deliciosa.
Apartado gráfico y sonoro
La joya de la corona al hablar de Crysis 3, efectos increíbles, un juego muy fluido (salvo si ya tiras con los filtros al tope), mapas enormes, cierto nivel de interacción con el mapa a nivel de destrucción (algo que se ha mejorado respecto a Crysis 2) y, en general, un juego que se saca el miembro demostrando que es el primer juego de la siguiente generación sin lugar a dudas. Las cinemáticas están hechas ingame (mola porque salvo entre capítulos, no hay tiempos de carga) y es simplemente impresionante. Eso sí, en consolas no sabemos cómo es (ya que yo lo he jugado en PC) y, como ya pasó con Crysis, este no es un juego que a día de hoy se pueda jugar “bien” con todo al máximo.
El apartado sonoro está muy bien, el juego está totalmente localizado a nuestro idioma, con voces muy buenas en lo que a personajes principales se refiere, le ponen mucho sentimiento y se nota, pero con los personajes secundarios el juego flojea mucho (y más con las frases que no están guionizadas). La banda sonora está bien, pero como ocurre en estos juegos, realmente la disfrutaremos más escuchándola aparte.
Duración y extras
El apartado más lamentable de toda la franquicia. Aunque el juego tiene cinco niveles de dificultad, bastantes “objetos” secundarios que conseguir durante sus siete capítulos y alguna que otra misión secundaria, Crysis 3 es corto. Yo me lo he pasado en Veterano (la tercera dificultad del juego) y he tardado cinco horas y media en pasarme el juego, haciendo todas las misiones secundarias y consiguiendo algún que otro objeto. Me parece muy corto, ya que en dificultades bajas el juego te puede durar menos de cuatro horas tranquilamente. No entiendo el bajón que ha pegado la franquicia a nivel de “sensaciones”, con lo bien que lo habían hecho en la segunda entrega, y ojo, que sólo son cinco horas, pero que acabas deseando que se acaben ya.
El apartado multijugador, es curioso, pero no tan curioso como para diferenciarse con otros juegos, lo básico de toda la vida y poco más (algo que a mí ya, a día de hoy, me importa bien poco). Como extras hay que decir que el juego cuenta con una base de datos bastante interesante (muy curiosa para lo corto que es el juego) y muy detallada, merece la pena pegarle un vistazo si somos seguidores de la saga.

p>Que sí, que Crysis 3 es un pepino gráfico, eso es algo innegable, que hay que alabar mil veces, pero ya está. Lamentable en el resto de apartados bajo mi opinión personal y a día de hoy al precio que está, yo, no lo recomendaría. Más adelante, cuando baje de precio, o mediante la típica oferta, o un pack con todas las entregas, estaría muy bien. Pero repito, para mí es el juego más flojo de toda la franquicia, corto, simple, pero un pepino gráfico, vuestra decisión es…

En cierto modo lo he visto muy parecido, por no decir, igualito a Crysis 2, pero con menos horas de juego. Es raro que un juego que ha estado en desarrollo este tiempo y con tanto hype haya resultado una mera actualización de la segunda parte, una expansión, porque dime tú a mí 5h30min de juego….
El primero me encantó, el segundo me costó pasármelo por desgana, después de leer la review me esperaré a que baje muuucho de precio
