Finiquitando estamos ya el veranito y a éste le han acompañado algunos lanzamientos de dudo prestigio y otros llenos de carisma como pocos. Sin embargo la industria suma y sigue, y esta semana volvemos con diversos lanzamientos. En esta ocasión nos hemos parado con seis estrenos en el mercado que entran en la categoría de reseñable. Plataformas con unos personajes grandiosos, rol japonés, un shooter muy peculiar, una aventura gráfica y un ring de boxeo nos esperan, siendo ésta la semana más cargada del verano.
Real Boxing (PS Vita)
Unreal Engine 3 tiene cuerda para rato y esto lo demuestran cada día más desarrolladoras que están resurgiendo y reutilizando este motor gráfico como su único arma con el que competir con el resto. Real Boxing es el típico juego de boxeo que nos permitirá encarnar a un luchador aficionado que deberá entrenarse duro para poder vender algún día a los más grandes de los torneos.
Como es lógico comenzaremos con un boxeador nada entrenado y tendremos que mejorar sus habilidades poco a poco para convertirse en el mejor de todos. Mientras irás ascendiendo en el ránking mundial de luchadores. Vivid Games nos trae esta joya del boxeo a PS Vita el próximo 28 de agosto por el precio nada despreciable de 9,99 euros. Recordamos que este título ya está disponible en plataformas móviles para Android e iOS desde hace poco.
Spelunky (PS3, PS Vita)
Título de plataformas del diseñador Derek Yu, el que creó Aquaria, que llega a estas dos plataformas tras haber pasado por PC y Xbox 360. Llega con un apartado gráfico renovado y mejorado, así como con varios modos de juego que no encontrábamos en anteriores entregas. El juego es de categoría cross buy así que una compra en una de las dos consolas servirá para jugarlo en ambas. La característica principal de Spelunky es que los niveles se generan aleatoriamente, así que cada partida será totalmente distinta.
El juego saldrá el próximo 28 de agosto para ambas consolas por un precio cercano a los 15 euros. En cuanto a la historia y jugabilidad, seremos un espeleólogo que comienza cada nivel dentro de una caverna a sabiendas de que va a morir tarde o temprano ahí dentro. Nos acecharán peligros a cada paso y no deberemos sufrir, puesto que será normal morir en demasiadas ocasiones. Una aventura de exploración y acción para los más pacientes. La creadora Mossmouth quiere volvernos locos.
Rayman Legends (Wii U, PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
Rayman vuelve por la puerta grande al igual que hiciera en su antecesor. El juego continúa el estilo de Rayman Origins en el que hasta cuatro jugadores al mismo tiempo se abren paso a través de varios niveles. Los lums pueden ser recogidos al tocarlos, derrotar a los enemigos, o liberar Teensies capturados. Junto con Rayman, Globox y los Teensies regresan como personajes jugables. Además los jugadores pueden controlar a un nuevo personaje femenino llamado Bárbara.
La historia nos dice que Rayman, Globox y los Teensies han estado durmiendo un siglo. Durante ese tiempo, las pesadillas de la burbuja de Dreamer crecieron en fuerza y número, sumiendo al mundo en el caos una vez más. La banda debe correr, saltar y luchar por el camino y atravesar cada mundo para salvar el día. El juego saldrá a la venta el próximo 29 de agosto entre los 45 euros de Wii U, PS3 y Xbox 360 y los 30 de PS Vita y PC.
Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan (3DS)
La historia de esta aventura de rol nos cuenta que, durante siglos el árbol Yggdrasil ha sido una presencia constante en la vida de la gente de Tharsis. Se vislumbra en el horizonte, visible desde cualquier punto de la ciudad. Pero sus raíces se encuentran en una tierra lejana donde nadie se ha aventurado a ir hasta que el conde de Terrallende Tharsis organiza un gremio de exploradores para llegar a Yggdrasil y descubrir sus secretos.
Como jugadores, seremos el último explorador en llegar a Tharsis en una aventura para buscar la fama y la fortuna. El modo de juego sigue siendo similar a las primeras tres entregas de la saga, con algunas pequeñas diferencias. Ahora tendremos un nuevo supramundo en forma de cielo, que el jugador puede recorrer con el uso de una aeronave, la cual ganaremos junto a la habilidad de volar a mayor altitud. El 30 de agosto estará disponible por unos 38 euros.
Killer Is Dead (PS3, Xbox 360)
El trascurso de la historia en Killer Is Dead se lleva a cabo en un futuro cercano, incluyendo avances tecnológicos como el turismo lunar y mejoras a nivel cibernético. Nuestro personaje principal es un verdugo llamado Mondo Zappa que recibe trabajos de asesinato con la firma la empresa Bryan, dirigida por Bryan Roses. Nuestra tarea será la de ejecutar a los asesinos más famosos y buscados de todos el mundo. Empuñaremos una espada con la ano derecha y el brazo izquierdo es cibernético, por lo que podrá convertirse en el arma que queramos.
En boca del diseñador jefe, el juego cuenta la historia personal de un hombre que no se muestra tal cual es al mundo. Una historia verdaderamente interesante que nos recuerda a Hitman y sus asesinatos por encargo. El título saldrá a la venta el 30 de agosto por un precio cercano a 55 euros en ambas consolas. Grasshoper Manufacture ha sido el desarrollador, los que trajeron el mejor shoot’em up para móviles, Sine Mora.
Memoria (PC, Mac)
De los creadores de la saga Deponia que hemos analizado en Xombit Games llega la última aventura que se destaca de lo que teníamos visto hasta ahora. En Memoria, Kevon Mentz, un escritor, enlaza dos historias de la princesa Sadja y de Geron, un cazador de pájaros en una trama épica de magia antigua, enigmas y giros inesperados. Deep Silver y Daedalic Entertainment volverán a deleitarnos con una gran aventura sin lugar a dudas.
Dos personajes de distintas épocas, una gran variedad de hechizos y una historia cautivadora como ella sola se unen y forman un atractivo juego para todos, incluso para los que aun no hayan participado en un juego como The Dark Eye antes. Además podremos disfrutar de una gran calidad gráfica en alta definición, puzles desafientes y una banda sonora de categoría. El juego llegará el día 30 de este mes por unos 37 euros en tiendas físicas y Steam.
