Anuncio final de Randal’s Monday, una nueva aventura gráfica ‘pata negra’

De vez en cuando algún que otro estudio de desarrollo de ‘pata negra’ reluce entre tanto estudio y empresa multinacional en el sector del videojuego. Hoy es el turno de presentar brevemente a Nexus Games Studios (curioso el nombre), de procedencia española que ha lanzado el primer tráiler de lo que será una aventura gráfica llamada Randal’s Monday. Con un estilo clásico de juego nos han querido mostrar su adelanto en vídeo e imágenes estáticas.

El título cuenta la extraña historia del joven Randal, un anti-héroe de los pies a la cabeza, que tendrá que hacer frente a diversos peligros para superar los siete niveles que se nos presentan. El juego estará plagado de referencias a varias series infantiles, homenajeando así a la generación de jugadores y simples espectadores de esta, nuestra cultura videojueguil. A través de un total de 40 escenarios distintos y teniendo que compartir escenas con hasta 50 personajes, unos con más humor que otros, la cultura geek tendrá su hueco en Randal’s Monday.

El año pasado anunciábamos que el estudio comenzaba con el desarrollo. Los adictos y no tan adictos a los videojuegos están de enhorabuena, ya que la cultura de toda una generación, la que ha evolucionado en menos tiempo, se verá plasmada en una sola aventura gráfica. Al menos lo mejor de esta cultura de la que todos los aquí presentes somos fieles seguidores.

Como toda aventura gráfica, los diálogos son la base sobre la que se sustenta toda obra de este tipo, y el estudio se ha adelantado a informar de que Randal’s Monday contará con más de 5.000 líneas. Además podremos disfrutar de esta aventura a partir de mediados del próximo 2014 en PC.
