Una semana más os saludamos y os damos la bienvenida a una nueva guía de compras en el mercadillo de los videojuegos. Hemos escogido los cinco mejores juegos que aparecerá durante los próximos siete días. Disparos, disparos y más disparos se darán cita esta semana entre todas nuestras elecciones, sumándole, eso sí, un toque de humor y plataformas. Lo más destacado quizá sea la supervivencia de un protagonista en la selva, del que todos hemos oído hablar.
Ikaruga (PC)
El famoso shoot’em up lanzado en recreativas allá por el año 2001 y que luego tuviera sus versiones repartidas entre GameCube, Xbox 360 y Dreamcast, ahora llega a compatibles copiando prácticamente lo que pudimos ver en la consola de Microsoft desde 2008. Tendremos la posibilidad de echar unas partidas multijugador a nivel local para dos personas, dos modos de juego (arcade y prototype), tres niveles de dificultad, cinco fases a cada cual más complicada y además hacernos con las repeticiones de nuestras propias partidas.
El próximo 18 de febrero podremos hacernos con este título tan esperado por los aficionados al género que verán que sigue habiendo vida tras Sine Mora. El juego podrá descargarse desde Steam a un precio cercano a los 10 euros. Treasure, desarrolladora y distribuidora, ha querido mantener el precio con el que ya saliera hace unos años en consolas de anteriores generaciones. ¿Volverá Ikaruga a reinar en el género a partir de su lanzamiento?

Strider (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
Juego ambientado en un futuro alternativo en la Tierra, el mundo está dirigido por el misterioso Grandmaster Meio. Hiryu, el recluta más joven del programa de Strider, acepta la misión de eliminar a Meio y acabar con su suprema tiranía. Hiryu llega a la ciudad de Kazajstán y ve envuelto rápidamente en el conflicto. Toda la acción del juego pasará por nuestro protagonista que se desplazará por los tejados con su katana láser.
En su esencia Strider es un juego de acción y desplazamiento lateral, con combates sin aliento y un ritmo febril. Ganaremos mejoras de armas y habilidades del personaje por el camino, lo que nos permitirá acceder a mucha nuevas zonas de los mapas. Cualquier cosa que se interponga en nuestro camino deberá ser cortado a tiras por nosotros con nuestro armas de plasma indestructible, llamado Cypher. El juego ha sido desarrollado por Double Helix y distribuido por Capcom, podrá descargarse a partir del día 19 y tendrá un precio de 14,99 euros en todas las plataformas.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U)
En esta aventura creada desde cero para la nueva consola de Nintendo, deberemos ayudar a Donkey Kong y a sus amigos a salvar sus casas y tesoros de los vikingos que merodean por el país de nuestro protagonista. Retro Studios y la propia Nintendo nos traen esta nueva aventura desafiante conservando toda la esencia de los Donkey Kong clásicos de Super Nintendo. Además, Dixie Kong ha vuelto a unirse a la aventura como personaje jugable, algo que agradecemos los amantes de la serie. Con ello podremos disfrutar de su modo cooperativo para dos.
Los aficionados a esta saga ya esperaban que Nintendo se pusiera las pilas y trasladara a la nueva generación un título de la franquicia del orangután más famoso de los videojuegos. Exploraremos nuevos niveles, más dinámicos, con movimientos de cámara novedosos. Viajaremos a través de cinco islas con gran variedad de escenarios representados que incluyen zonas bajo el agua y en ambientes helados. El título estará disponible a partir del día 21 por unos 47-50 euros.

Ys: Memories of Celceta (PS Vita)
Ya era hora de que Sony se pusiera manos a la obra trayendo este título a nuestro país. Desde septiembre de 2012 que apareció Japón, estábamos ansiosos por la llegada de la cuarta parte de la saga Ys. La forma de jugar es muy similar a la de las anteriores tres entregas de la serie, se trata de un juego de acción-RPG de combate en tiempo real. Para más inri se nos han incluido algunos combos pulsando la combinación de teclas adecuada. El juego tendrá su lanzamiento merecido el próximo 21 de febrero y nos costará unos 37-40 euros.
Durante la mayor parte del juego, el principal protagonista (Adol) estará acompañado por Duren, pero otros cuantos miembros podrá ir uniéndose al equipo en diferentes momentos. Cada miembro tiene una serie de ataques específicos, y algunos enemigos tienen diferentes métodos para contrarrestar nuestras acometidas. Cada estadística de armas y armaduras pueden ser personalizadas y mejoradas durante el trascurro del juego recogiendo minerales, plantas o restos animales.

Rambo (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)
¡Dios mío! (con la boca algo desencajada). Esta es la escena que siempre me viene a la cabeza cuando oigo la palabra ‘Rambo’. Quizá sea por la influencia televisiva o quizá no, pero Rambo vuelve a la pequeña pantalla, esta vez de la mano de Reef Entertainment y BaDLanD Games. Tras varios retrasos, PC, PS3 y Xbox 360 se nutrirán de acción a saco por parte del protagonista más agónico y más superviviente de la gran pantalla, John Rambo.
Los jugadores guiará a Rambo a través de diferentes eventos que tuvieron lugar en las tres primeras cintas. Además su desarrolladora ha confirmado que han incluido las voces originales de nuestro protagonista en el juego, así como la de su compañero el Coronel Trautman. El juego aparecerá en las tres plataformas el próximo día 21 de este mes por un precio entre 20 y 40 euros según sistema.
