Durante la feria del E3 2012 estamos viendo anuncios un tanto novedosos, como el nuevo Watch Dogs de Ubisoft o la versión portátil de Assassin’s Creed 3. Y Sony no iba a ser menos, así que presentó un título exclusivo para PlayStation 3 y PS Vita, para intentar dar un golpe en la mesa de la conferencia. Aunque creo que no tomó tanto efecto como esperaban.
Lo malo de las filtraciones y vídeos promocionales en el mundillo del videojuego es que a la hora de la verdad, es decir, en el momento de presentar en las ferias los juegos o accesorios o consolas, las compañías no suelen sorprender a nadie. Ésto le ha pasado a Sony con el anuncio de PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, un juego de lucha para cuatro jugadores simultáneos en pantalla que llevaba filtrándose varios meses.
No hay duda de que este título será un must have para todo aquellos sonyers que tengan una de las dos consolas. Desde Xombit Games auguramos un gran éxito a este título que, si bien no es del todo un avance en cuanto a gráficos, su jugabilidad nunca ha sido vista en estas consolas y, desde luego, será el único lanzamiento de este estilo durante este año 2012. Además, este Battle Royale tendrá una modalidad cross play en la que podremos jugar contra usuarios de la consola hermana, así los de PlayStation 3 y PS Vita se podrán enfrentar entre sí en cualquier momento, por ahora sabemos que será en línea a través de la red de Sony.
Por si hay algún despistado o despistada, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal trata de enfrentar en una misma pantalla en una lucha por puntos a varios de los iconos de diversas franquicias aparecidas en PlayStation durante su larga vida. Por ello encontraremos personajes como Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, Coronel Radic, Fat Princess o Parappa Rapper. Aunque también se han confirmado que aparecerán nuevos personajes como el mismísimo Nathan Drake y un Big Daddy de la serie Bioshock. Esperemos no echar de menos a los inesperados ausentes Ratchet & Clank.
En cuanto a los ataques, cada personaje tendrá los suyos propios pero variarán cuando vayamos cambiando entre los escenarios, ya que todos ellos tienen vida propia y podrán ayudar o perjudicar a determinados luchadores a la hora de lanzar sus ataques especiales. Os dejamos con el vídeo de presentación del título y una galería de imágenes para que vayáis abriendo boca hasta su lanzamiento, que no pasará de 2012.
