Ha tenido que pasar mucho, pero que mucho tiempo para ver un Castlevania en PC, en concreto veintiseis duros y largos años. Konami ha hecho oficial que la segunda entrega de la saga aparecerá en PC, Xbox 360 y PS3 de forma simultánea para finales de 2013. Sin duda, se trata de una gran noticia, ya que los usuarios podrán disfrutar de una versión mucho más potente y mejor optimizada que la que se podrá ver en consolas.
Los hechos transcurren siglos después de la primera aventura de 2010 y nos presentan un Gabriel Belmont muy envejecido que apenas puede sostenerse en pie. Tu misión será ayudarle a desvelar los misterios que se ocultan en su castillo y que le permitirán recuperar la juventud eterna. Para ello deberás arrebatar las almas a los infieles que te han causado tanto daño en el pasado y te han condenado a vivir una vida mortal.
Dave Cox, productor ejecutivo, cree que estamos ante uno de los grandes alicientes de este año, ya que la calidad del juego será incuestionable en todos los aspectos.
Cuenta con una historia mucho más profunda. Se trata de un juego que llevará cualquier formato hasta su límite absoluto. Estamos encantados con el sistema de combate, la profunda exploración y la increíble narrativa de Castlevania: Lords Of Shadows 2.
Una de las principales novedades de esta nueva entrega será la presencia de Alucard, hijo de Gabriel, cuyo destino estará totalmente ligado al del protagonista. Además, habrá puzzles de mayor dificultad, un mundo más abierto que explorar y por supuesto, mucha más sangre.
En cuanto al apartado jugable, no parece que vaya a sufrir cambios de consideración, ya que el rendimiento de su predecesor fue simplemente espectacular. Únicamente se han hecho unos pequeños retoques en el árbol de habilidades y se añadirán nuevas posibilidades de cara a la personalización del personaje.
Y recuerda que el próximo mes de marzo tienes una cita ineludible con el Conde Drácula en Castlevania: Mirror of Fate para Nintendo 3DS. ¡Larga vida a los chupasangres!
