En la pasada entrega de los premios VGA uno de los bombazos fue la presentación de Dark Souls II, la secuela de, a mi parecer, uno de los mejores RPG (sino el mejor) que he tenido ocasión de jugar en la generación actual. Desde entonces, poco hemos podido ver o saber más allá de lo que se dijo en los VGA y los seguidores ya empezábamos a estar sedientos de información, pero esta semana toda nuestra curiosidad se ha visto satisfecha.
Lo primero que tenéis que ver es el gameplay de 12 minutos que ha publicado en exclusiva IGN. A lo largo del vídeo se puede apreciar cierta línea continuista respecto a su antecesor (¡mejor!) aunque se ve mejor gráficamente y los movimientos del personaje se ven más naturales:
También traigo buenas noticias para los jugadores de PC. Con Dark Souls tuvimos que esperar un año hasta que salió la versión para ordenadores, que para colmo estaba sin optimizar y contenía unos cuantos errores. Dark Souls II para PC no correrá la misma suerte o al menos eso es lo que se desprende de las afirmaciones de Yui Tanimura, director de Dark Souls II:
pondremos indudablemente más prioridad en el PC, ya que la última vez empezamos a trabajar en el PC después de que la versión de consola estuviera completada… Esta vez, debido a que estamos teniendo en cuenta el PC desde el principio, podéis estar seguros de que pondremos más cuidado en el desarrollo de PC.
No os voy a engañar, el tráiler que os pongo a continuación y que está recién sacado del horno por parte de Namco Bandai, me parece hecho con prisas o como si fuera un montaje casero, aunque visto de otro modo es Dark Souls en esencia. Bueno, en cualquier caso os lo dejo para que saquéis vuestras conclusiones:
Por último os dejo las nuevas imágenes publicadas hasta la fecha, en las que podemos ver distintos escenarios que, llegado el día, nos cansaremos de ver tras morir unas cuantas veces.
