Esta semana se propone como la última de esta sección del año 2013. No tendremos más Lanzamientos Destacados hasta la semana del 13 al 19 de enero. Por ello queríamos aprovechar esta última del año para felicitaros las fiestas y desearos una gran entrada jugona de año nuevo. Nosotros volveremos el domingo 12 de enero con más novedades.
Y para comenzar esta última semana de 2013 qué mejor que cinco nuevos lanzamientos para consolas y PC. Una nueva entrega de Halo que ya tuvo su oportunidad hace meses, versiones cómicas de Fórmula 1, construcción y destrucción de castillos medievales, el uso de la telequinesia se pone de moda y vuelve un gran título de estrategia de la serie Tycoon. Comenzamos.
Halo: Spartan Assault (Xbox One)
Una nueva entrega de la saga Halo llega por primera vez a Xbox One, aunque no sea un Halo en toda regla. Coge tu mando y prepárate para el diluvio en este título de estrategia pura con temática Halo. 343 Industries en colaboración con Vanguard lanzarán este Halo, a nivel mundial, el próximo día 24 de diciembre durante los preparativos de Noche Buena. No había otro momento…
En esta ocasión los jugadores se enfrentarán en una guerra galáctica a un enemigo persistente y abrumador, el Diluvio. Vigila tus espaldas en el modo multijugador cooperativo en línea, ya que la trepidante acción nos hará dejarnos flancos sin comprobar. Además del gran arsenal que nos dispone el juego. Más de 30 misiones, la próxima actualización “Operación Hydra” y su precio, 14,99 euros lo hacen una compra asegurada. Sin embargo si eres de los que se lo compró para PC en verano, ahora éste solo te costará 4,99 euros.

CastleStorm (Wii U)
Tras haberse paseado por casi todo el elenco de plataformas móviles y de sobremesa, ahora aterriza en Wii U, una consola que ha sido rechazada por la mayoría de desarrolladoras pero que finalmente va adquiriendo algo de protagonismo estas navidades. CastleStorm es un título de acción en dos dimensiones y con Scroll lateral en el que deberemos destruir torretas, enemigos y castillos a nuestro paso. Zen Studios nos trae este juego.
Las batallas juntarán a Caballeros y Vikingos en CastleStorm, donde la guerra medieval se controla en tiempo real. Los jugadores podrán aprovechar el poder de la artillería de la época, gestionar un ataque y lanzar poderosos hechizos. Cuenta con un modo historia o campaña en solitario, un editor de castillos, un multijugador en línea y modo cooperativos. Construir y destruir castillos con armas nunca fue tan divertido. El juego se podrá descargar desde la eShop por 9,99 euros a partir del 26 de este mes.

Edge (3DS)
Tras su paso por Wii U el pasado mes y por otras tantas plataformas en los últimos tres años, Edge llega por fin a Nintendo 3DS de la mano, esta vez, de la desarrolladora Two Tribes. En esta versión para la portátil de Nintendo se han mantenido los mismos contenidos que en la de Wii U. Sin embargo se ha modificado, en cierto modo, la interfaz de usuario trasladando el mapa a la pantalla táctil de la portátil.
Para quien no lo sepa Edge es un juego de estilo retro con unos gráficos más cercanos a los 8 bits de aquellos entonces. En él los jugadores deben resolver puzles reflexionando bastante y utilizando la telequinesia. Tendrán que guiar a un cubo por un universo geométrico lleno de peligros. El precio del juego, dado su contenido y su recorrido ya en otras consolas, se sitúa cerca de los 4 euros y podrá ser descargado a partir del 26 de diciembre.

F1 Race Stars (Wii U)
Como hemos dicho Wii U está sufriendo retrasos en la llegada de juegos multiplataforma dado el rechazo de las desarrolladoras hacia la consola. Sin embargo esta semana llega uno de esos juegos que hacen vender consolas. Codemasters ya lanzó en PC, PS3 y Xbox 360 hace poco más de un año este título y fue todo un éxito. Una especie de Mario Kart con pilotos y coches reales, pero todo con un aspecto caricaturesco.
En esta versión se incluirán cuatro temas extra y nueve paquetes de accesorio adicionales. Además Codemasters ha incluido el control de inclinación para los jugadores del GamePad para utilizarlo como volante. El juego saldrá a la venta el próximo 27 de diciembre y podrá ser descargado desde la eShop por cerca de 50 euros. Un precio bastante elevado dado a que es un port de otras consolas y tiene más de un año en el mercado.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 (PC)
Tras la caída de Atari, Red Coin Games se hizo con los derechos de la saga y nos trae esta nueva entrega de la mítica serie de parques de atracciones. Un juego de estrategia de construcción de parques temáticos llenos de montañas rusas como gran atractivo y lugares de ocio para familias. El creador original de la serie ha sido el encargado de trae esta nueva compañía todo lo necesario para seguir su éxito.
El juego estaba programado para que saliera en PC, Wii U y Xbox 360 este mes, sin embargo algunos retrasos se han sucedido y por ahora solo lo tendremos en compatibles a partir del 27 de diciembre (aunque no está totalmente confirmado y podría irse a 2014). Con la salida de PS4 se está considerando crear una versión para la nueva consola de Sony, aunque no está muy claro aun. El precio del juego es una incógnita pero estimamos, fijándonos en las anteriores versiones, que no superará los 20 euros.
