BSO Max Payne 3 by Health
Hoy mismo, Rockstar ha publicado que el grupo Health, afincado en Los Ángeles, ha compuesto la banda sonora de lo último de la saga para consolas y compatibles. Estará a la venta el próximo miércoles 23 de mayo en formato digital. Aunque unos pocos días antes de esta fecha, durante la semana del lanzamiento del citado videojuego (15 de mayo). podremos comprar vía iTunes el primer single del recopilatorio, ”Tears”. Las canciones serán una mezcla entre rock, baterías y efectos electrónicos, con una buena influencia de la cultura brasileña. Como no, han tenido en cuenta las bandas sonoras de los otros dos juegos de la serie.
Para el grupo angelino, el trabajar en este juego ha sido una gran experiencia. Rockstar dio muchas libertades para introducir su propio sonido a la tenebrosa vida de Max Payne. Se puede decir que el resultado ha sido a gusto de todos. Las canciones son únicas, ya que Health ha dedicado cientos de horas a su música adaptándolo a las situaciones que podremos encontrarnos a lo largo de Max Payne 3.
Half-Life 3 no será presentado en el E3 de este año
Dentro de un mes comenzará el esperado E3 en Los Ángeles, donde se darán cita las mayores novedades en el mundo del videojuego en todo el mundo este año. Del 5 al 7 de junio estaremos atentos a todas las noticias que se den y nos presenten las compañías pero, una de ellas ya se ha adelantado y no para dar la buena nueva. Todo lo contrario, la todopoderosa Valve ha anunciado que la nueva entrega de Half-Life no estará presente en la conferencia de este año.
Half-Life 3 habría sido la bomba de este E3 2012, sin embargo no será así y Valve disipa todas las dudas que teníamos hasta ahora acerca de la salida del título. Es de agradecer que hayan salido al paso y cortado de raíz todos los rumores que indicaban a una presentación del juego cuanto antes, ya que la expectación y especulaciones sobre ello eran de altura. Así que la compañía con sede en Washington no presentará este año ninguna de las secuelas de sus buque insignia como lo son Portal, Half-Life o Left 4 Dead. Sólo se centrará en anunciar y mostrar mejoras en sus productos actuales como son Counter Strike, la nueva interfaz de Steam (Big Picture) y DOTA 2.
