Se acerca la Navidad y con ella algunas salidas al mercado más importantes del año. Los jugones buscan ofertas y descuentos en juegos de la nueva generación de consolas en estas fechas en las que la industria sufre un incremento en ventas bastante severo. Por otro lado hay muchos juegos alternativos que salen a la venta en estas fechas y pretenden luchar contra los más grandes a base de precios reducidos. Hoy os vamos a presentar cinco títulos para esta nueva semana.
Dementium II HD (PC)
Hace tres años ya apareció este título en Nintendo DS y ahora mejora su apartado gráfico y sonoro para llegar a PC y más tarde a Mac. Seremos William Redmoor, que recientemente ha pasado por una operación de cerebro y que está recluido en el Centro de Tratamiento Bright clandestino para criminales dementes. Todo un ejemplo. Nuestros recuerdos son confusos, pero parece que nuestra esposa e hija fueron asesinadas y nosotros somos el sospechoso número uno.
La operación no parece haber funcionado y los demonios, que parecían derrotados, han vuelto a aparecer. Deberemos sobrevivir al ataque de varias bestias terribles e ir un paso por delante de las intenciones maléficas del cirujano que nos operó. Con toda la locura que nos rodea, no se puede saber si hemos perdido la cordura realmente. El juego saldrá el día 17 en PC por unos 15 euros aproximadamente.

Furmins (PS Vita)
Juego de plataformas diseñado para mayores de 6 años. Furmins cuenta la historia de sus personajes principales, una historia de peluches vivos en la que son felices y tranquilos todo el día. Hasta que un día el rey de ese mundo, que es gigante, se queda dormido en el curso de un río haciendo que el agua crezca como en una presa y no llegue agua suficiente a la ciudad. La existencia de los Furmins se ve amenazada, por lo que se embarcan en la búsqueda para llegar a su Rey y despertarlo. El objeto del juego es navegar a través de ocho mundos diferentes compuestas por 36 niveles cada uno.
Furmins mezcla las físicas basadas en el estilo set-up-and-go, juego e interacción en tiempo real. Para completar cada nivel, el jugador está obligado a llevar a los Furmins desde el punto de partida del nivel a su punto final, en este caso, una cesta. Esto se logra mediante la resolución de varios rompecabezas. El título tendrá su pistoletazo de salida el próximo 17 de diciembre, por unos 7 euros, tras haber sufrido varios retrasos.

Eufloria (PS Vita)
Este es un juego que obtuvo gran éxito en iPad, PC y PS3 hace tiempo, sobre todo por su sencillez y belleza. Eufloria es un juego de exploración espacial y conquista que emplea temas sorprendentes en cuanto al crecimiento de las plantas y la evolución mecánica biológica. El juego permite al jugador explorar un universo de una forma única y convincente. El modo de juego está apoyado por una banda sonora original de Brian Grainger.
El juego gira en torno a la conquista de asteroides en el espacio y el uso de sus recursos para crecer y cultivar nuevas plantas semi-orgánicas y criaturas. El jugador luchará contra varios equipos llevados por la CPU con lo que se disputan por los mismos recursos e incluso pueden ofrecer una feroz oposición. El día 18 de diciembre lo tendremos en PS Vita por unos 9 euros.

The Walking Dead: Season Two – Episodio 1 (Mac, PC, Xbox 360)
The Walking Dead: Season Two continúa la historia de Clementine, una joven que se quedó huérfana debido al apocalipsis zombi. La joven pasa a valerse por sí misma, y se ha visto obligada a aprender a sobrevivir en un mundo enloquecido por estas criaturas. Se pondrá a prueba a los jugadores en acontecimientos ocurridos en la primera temporada de la serie. Pero ¿qué puede hacer una niña tan pequeña para esconderse y moverse entre tanto muerto viviente?
Pondremos a prueba la moral y el instinto de supervivencia de Clementine. Sus decisiones, osea, las nuestras cambiarán el curso de la historia que nos rodea. El juego saldrá el día 17 para PC y Mac y el 18 para Xbox 360. Este primer episodio tendrá un coste cercano a 5 euros aunque podremos desbloquear el pase para toda la temporada por unos 15 euros. Telltale Games ha encontrado el camino correcto para seguir con su saga.

Ridge Racer Slipstream (iOS, Android)
Este año se cumple el 20 aniversario de la franquicia Ridge Racer, y Namco Bandai ha querido lanzar una entrega para dispositivos móviles llamada Slipstream. El juego tiene unos gráficos brillantes y se han centrado en la personalización de los vehículos como arma para llamar más la atención del público jugón. Tendremos más de 300 formas de mejorar nuestros vehículos.
Esta entrega también contará con el implemento de algunas habilidades en nuestros coches, tales como el nitro o un salto especial. Ridge Racer siempre ha tenido mucha popularidad aunque, por otro lado, también ha tenido un gran número de detractores. El próximo día 19 de diciembre tendrá una nueva oportunidad para demostrar que es el rey de los derrapes y los saltos arcade. El precio no ha sido revelado aún, pero imaginamos que no superará los 5 euros.
