Solemos traeros la selección de los cinco mejores juegos que van a ser lanzados esa semana, sin embargo esta vez mayo no comienza sus fechas con suerte para nosotros los gamers y os presentamos los únicos cincos títulos que saldrán a la venta durante este periodo de siete días. Las plataformas escogidas por las distribuidoras en comenzar a vender sus unidades son la portátil de Sony, compatibles y Xbox 360, tanto en sus tiendas online como en establecimientos físicos. Como siempre, os propongo un mosaico a modo de adivinanza. Comenzamos.

Mortal Kombat (PS Vita)

Franquicias como Mortal Kombat siempre han destacado en el mundo del videojuego por mantener su carácter y su jugabilidad a lo largo de los años. Y es que los luchadores han tenido que ir adaptándose a los nuevo tiempos que corren. Pero los chicos de NetherRealm Studios han querido hacer un guiño a aquellos inicios de la saga de lucha, adaptando los anteriores aspectos a este título que estrena su presencia en la portátil de Sony, PS Vita.

En la versión de Vita los usuarios se encontrarán con una sorpresa en comparación con la versión que ya salió para Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3, y es que han querido que la versión portátil contenga una gran variedad de trajes exclusivos para los luchadores. Además de esto, también podremos hacer frente a una nueva torre de desafío con 150 misiones originales y poder, a su vez, realizar los clásicos fatalities utilizando la pantalla táctil de la consola. Lo que no será sorpresa es su precio, que rondará los 50 €, y nos esperará a todos los poseedores de PS Vita en la tienda más cercana el próximo viernes 4 de mayo.

Sniper Elite V2 (PS3, Xbox 360)

Con Sniper Elite V2 nos llega una versión que nos hará convertirnos en todo un francotirador de élite. 505 Games y Rebellion nos traen el próximo 4 de mayo este título que, siguiendo la estela de su versión para PlayStation 2 en 2005, no han querido fijarse tanto en las bondades que le dieron éxito en esos años, de ahí el cambio a V2. Todos hemos querido convertirnos en el francotirador del campanario de La Chaqueta Metálica (sin ese final, claro), y saber lo que se siente en esos momentos en mitad de una guerra con un arma tan poderosa y pesada.

Este shooter en tercera persona estará ambientado en la segunda guerra mundial y estaremos luchando entre las fuerzas alemanas y rusas en la ciudad de Berlín. Sniper tiene una manera de ver la guerra, y cuanto más real sea, mejor que mejor. Tendremos presente la famosa kill cam, que nos mostrará si hemos atravesado un pulmón, una garganta, una cabeza o un hígado a la hora de asesinar a nuestro objetivo marcado. El juego saldrá esta semana en las plataformas Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3 a un precio cercano a 50 €, sin embargo, los usuarios de PC tendrán que esperar hasta más adelante sin fecha concreta. Aquellos que reserven el título antes de su estreno tendrán sorpresas.

Tera: True Action Combat (PC)

Bluehole Studio nos acercan esta semana Tera, un innovador MMORPG con gráficos excelentes y un total control sobre todos los personajes, tanto que podremos atacar a los adversarios sin tan sólo seleccionarlos. El juego, en exclusiva para PC, saldrá a la venta en tiendas físicas este mismo jueves 3 de mayo a un precio que se estima en 49 €. Los títulos de rol como este no son santo de mi devoción, pero he de decir que viendo los primeras imágenes en movimiento, me ha sorprendido, puede que lo juegue.

A todos los amantes de este estilo de juegos se lo recomiendo ciegamente. Desde hace semanas podíamos reservarlo y esperar con ganas el poder pillarlo y luchar frente a cientos de mobs con diferentes tamaños y características. Podremos elegir entre una gran cantidad de armas y armaduras. Bluehole ha dotado a cada personaje con unos tipos de armas diferentes de las de cualquier otro, así, habrá un grandísima variedad de personajes distintos que matar o dominar.

Awesomenauts (PSN, XBLA, Steam)

Ronimo Games apuesta por el desarrollo en 2D de este título que tendrá su presencia en las plataformas online de las consolas de Sony y Microsoft el próximo 2 de mayo, en PC tendrán que esperar hasta una fecha sin determinar aún. Este divertido juego de plataformas al más puro estilo Metal Slug, nos llevará al espacio donde controlaremos a una serie de personajes de los más pintorescos, como un viejo vaquero, un camaleón, un chimpancé con traje de astronauta o un gran robot. Steam, PSN y XBLA se preparan para el despegue de estos extraños cosmonautas que viajarán al cielo para acabar con todo monstruito o bicho que se nos cruce en el camino.

En este juego de batallas entre equipos, cada bando contará con 3 jugadores y durante una media de 15 minutos intentarán acabar el uno con el otro. Tendremos a nuestra disposición a 6 personajes que, aunque parezcan pocos, su gran diversidad de personalización nos lo harán ver suficientes. Los controles son sencillos, pero salir a lo loco a matar no nos hará ser unos héroes y expertos puesto que Awesomenauts penaliza las muertes con dinero para el equipo rival, el cual usará para mejorar a sus soldados. Para los usuarios de PS Plus será gratis, en cambio para los no-plus y los jugadores de Xbox 360 su precio estará en torno a los 8 € y 800 puntos respectivamente.

Fable Heroes (XBLA)

En exclusiva para Xbox Live Arcade llega este beat’em up a 4 jugadores que no nos recuerda al original Fable de Xbox 360, nada más que en el título. Ha sido desarrollado por Lionhead Studios y será compatible con Kinect. La dinámica del juego es similar a la del mismísimo Mario Party, en él tendremos que competir en diversos mini-juegos, aunque en este caso tomando el papel de héroes de Albion. Su salida está prevista para este miércoles 2 de mayo a un precio fijado en los 800 puntos Microsoft.

Podremos conseguir un total de 30 logros que nos plantean al inicio, y si recolectamos suficientes monedas de oro podremos subir de nivel a nuestros personajes. En la medida de lo posible podremos alcanzar el desbloqueo de nuevos mini-juegos y niveles de dificultad. Además, nuestras hazañas y victorias serán recompensados con objetos para poder utilizar en el nuevo título de la franquicia, Fable: The Journey. El juego se podrá resolver de forma online y offline, y de veras que nos sorprenderá el estilo gráfico tan colorido que presenta, como el de los dibujos animados.
