Que Nintendo estaba preparando el estreno de Wii U para esta feria era un secreto a voces. En esta ocasión la nueva consola ha sido agraciada por Ubisoft para ser la plataforma elegida para el nuevo Rayman Legends. Su lanzamiento será en exclusiva para la nueva Wii, y traerá consigo una serie de mejoras en lo que respecta a los juegos de plataformas, que nos han gustado bastante. Si eres seguidor de Rayman, aquí verás a todos los personajes en su faceta más divertida.
Para comenzar, el mando con pantalla táctil sirve y mucho para ayudarnos en nuestro avance por las pantallas repletas de obstáculos y enemigos. Con deslizar el dedo por la pantalla destrozaremos partes del escenario y ayudaremos a nuestros personajes a atravesar zonas que, por sí solos, no podrían. El acelerómetro también ha sido implementado para garantizar una experiencia de juego completa.
La jugabilidad más adictiva que nos han ofrecido, ha sido utilizar a tres personajes a la vez en la misma pantalla, con un jugador controlando a cada uno. El estilo de juego es algo parecido al de Trine, en el que cada personaje tiene una habilidad determinada que podrá utilizar en cada momento para ayudar a sus compañeros a cruzar por diversos pasadizos o caminos. Han anunciado que en la versión final del juego se podrán juntar hasta cinco jugadores.
Otro aspecto que nos ha atraído es que, a modo de contrarreloj en algunos puntos del juego, podremos realizar todo el recorrido acompañados de notas musicales al más puro estilo Brutal Legend de PS3. Con los personajes corriendo por el escenario, tocaremos varias plataformas que irán iluminándose y sonando con una determinada nota. Durante todo el recorrido habremos escuchado una pieza musical de rock muy recurrente, haciendo mucho más ameno y entretenido el título.
Este año Rayman está destacando por moverse y mucho entre todas las plataformas. Empezó en PS Vita, luego pasó por PC, PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360, esta semana ha llegado a 3DS y muy pronto lo tendremos vagando por Wii U. Auguramos un buen año para Ubisoft, ya no sólo por este título, sino por otros tantos como Far Cry 3, Assassin’s Creed 3, Shootmania, Zombi U, Marvel’s The Avengers, Splinter Cell Blacklist y el tapado, Watch Dogs.
