No me puedo creer que los chicos de Nintendo hayan estado tanto tiempo desde que acabó la Navidad para sacar algunos títulos que enganchasen a sus usuarios de nuevo a sus consolas. Nintendo se está llevando muchos palos desde la salida al mercado de Wii U, y no es para menos, cuando no la están cuidando lo que debieran y además su portátil 3DS no está recibiendo título muy a menudo que digamos. Hoy os presentamos, de alguna manera, el resurgir de 3DS en el mercado mundial con dos títulos, acompañados por otros tres que darán mucho de qué hablar, ya lo veréis.
Yoshi’s New Island (3DS)
Este es un juego de plataformas en exclusiva para Nintendo 3DS. Se trata de la secuela del juego de 1995 Super Mario World 2: La isla de Yoshi y el juego de 2006 para DS, Yoshi Island. Está programado para estrenarse el próximo 14 de marzo en Norteamérica y Europa. El juego tiene un estilo artístico similar a los anteriores juegos de Yoshi, con la pintura al óleo, acuarela y diseños similares. El modo de juego se centra en Yoshi escoltando bebés, tales como Baby Mario, y comer enemigos para hacer huevos que actúan como proyectiles. Costará cerca de 40 euros.

Dark Souls II (PS3, Xbox 360)
La secuela de Dark Souls se concibe como una entrega de rol y acción en un mundo abierto. Ha sido desarrollado por From Software, el cual publicará el juego en Japón. En otras regiones se encargará Namco Bandai. En esta ocasión la historia girará en torno a un personaje no-muerto que intentará encontrar una cura para su maldición. El director del juego ha mencionado que la secuela no está directamente relacionada con la historia del predecesor, a pesar de que ocurren en el mismo mundo. El director también afirma que el concepto de tiempo será un factor en la historia y su dificultad… bueno ya conocemos el primero. En la actualidad, la historia principal se atribuye a la legendaria tierra de Dranglaec, lleno de almas que ayudan a los no muertos a mantener su humanidad, mientras luchan contra la maldición de los no muertos. Saldrá a la venta el día 14 por unos 60 euros.

Titanfall (PC, Xbox One)
En Titanfall los jugadores luchan en línea sólo en partidas multijugador establecidas en un planeta devastado por la guerra al más puro estilo Furia de Titanes. Su acción es trepidante, incluyendo habilidades como correr por las paredes o subidas de nivel. Respawn describe el juego como una vertical experiencia en tercera persona. Se han incorporado elementos que se utilizan tradicionalmente en las campañas para un solo jugador. El título utiliza los servicios de computación en la nube de Microsoft para descargar la actividad de los bots y optimizar así el rendimiento gráfico. El juego saldrá el próximo día 13 por unos 60 euros.

Cube Tactics (3DS)
Este juego se parece a uno de rol y estrategia, pero es más como un juego de estrategia en tiempo real. Los cubos son como partes de bases modulares y los jugadores arrojan más cubos para construir una base. Se empieza con cubos de núcleo y se puede construir un camino hacia la base enemiga dejando caer los cubos de tierra, hasta un total de 24 clases de cubos. Incluso podremos colocar trampas para osos para evitar el acercamiento de las unidades enemigas o crear una protección mediante la colocación de ciudades. El título exclusivo para 3DS saldrá el día 13 por unos 30 euros.
Alcatraz 1954 (Mac, PC)
Esta nueva aventura gráfica de Daedalic nos cuenta la historia de Joe, que fue condenado a 40 años de prisión por robo a mano armada, y él está ansioso por salir de “La Roca”. Pero necesita la ayuda de su esposa, Christine, que está siendo amenazada por su compatriota gangster Mickey, que le pide entregar el botín. Sólo Joe sabe dónde está el escondite. Ningún recluso ha sido capaz de salir de Alcatraz antes. ¿Podrá nuestro héroe tener éxito en la carrera por el botín? Una nueva aventura llenará las portadas de las revistas especializadas.
